To truly thrive as a leader, one must foster a culture of leadership that encourages the growth and development of outstanding leaders at every level of the organization. It's not enough to simply manage a team of employees; the goal is to inspire and motivate a new generation of leaders who are driven to make a positive impact on the world.
It's not enough to simply maintain a team of followers. The real goal is to inspire and motivate a new generation of leaders passionate about positively impacting the lives of those they are entrusted to serve.
That statement you made is so very true. At the company I work at, they don't want to let us grow and unleash our full potential to see where we may soar to. They hold us down and suppress the thoughts and creative ideas that could help take us to the next level, into leadership, and I think that scares and intimidates them. It is very sad to have leadership like this.
